Director of Product Management (Bot Defender)

We are looking for a highly driven and dynamic product manager to join our team and help shape the web-security landscape.   The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of customer empathy, strong technical background, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent communication, analytics, and problem-solving skills. You must be able to efficiently interact with customers, understand the problems they are trying to solve, obtain market insights directly or through customer-facing teams, and drive the product life-cycle for our industry-leading product Bot Defender. What you will be doing at PerimeterX...

  • Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Work closely with sales and customer success to build out and adjust the product roadmap
  • Work with customers and analysts to identify new opportunities and directions to take to expand on the product’s success
  • Define short and medium-term product specifications
  • Bring successful products to market in close collaboration with Engineering and Research teams
  • Drive product positioning and messaging
  • Drive product pricing and packaging
  • Assist in developing marketing and training materials, and be the subject matter expert to provide education and training to drive the adoption of the product
  • Define a path for reducing setup and management friction for new and existing customers

What we are looking for from you (Requirements)...

  • 7+ years experience in software product management including pricing, positioning, enablement, and market research
  • 3+ years in the security space, preferably application or network security
  • Proven track record of setting product development targets and delivering results a must, including experience authoring product requirements
  • Demonstrated success in planning, managing, and launching products 
  • Experience in working with B2B SaaS/Cloud products
  • Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and quantify market opportunities - then driving them to realization
  • Strong market and competitive analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Public speaking is an advantage
  • Strong desire to WIN in a competitive market
