VP Solutions and Enablement



PerimeterX is seeking a VP of Solutions and Enablement to lead our sales engineering and enablement efforts. You will play a critical role in growing our business model by scaling and leading a high-performing team of Sales Engineers, as well as investing in the enablement of the sales and SE team. Our Sales Engineers play a crucial role in demonstrating and communicating the value of PerimeterX’s products to our prospective customers and have a key role in the enablement of our sales team to sell faster. This is a player-coach role and will include both managing a growing Sales Engineering team as well as participating in more complex, solutions selling motions, as well as building a sales enablement team and playing a key role in training the sales organization and verifying the team readiness to sell our existing and new products.

What you will be doing at PerimeterX...

  • This position is expected to be directly involved in sales cycles to ensure the highest possibility of success. This may include individual contributions or direct ownership of technical sales cycles.
  • You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Your presentations and demos for prospects, partners, and customers are crisp, informative, and tailored to your audience.
  • You own the technical sales process from stem to stern, training your team to identify, qualify and scope opportunities, build and maintain account and territory plans, and execute proof of concept engagements as needed to convert opportunities into technical victories.
  • Recruit, scale, and coach an awesome global team of Sales Engineers across business segments (SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise, and Partnerships)
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to qualify, prioritize and strategize on Pre-Sales opportunities and streamline go-to-market motions
  • Understand the strategy at PerimeterX and help set Technical Services, Product & Engineering priorities based on customer & prospect needs
  • Build and roll out programs that facilitate scaling

What we are looking for from you...(Requirements)

  • Proven track record of mentoring others both interpersonally and via growth and development initiatives
  • Experience and familiarity with AI/ML platforms and technologies preferred
  • A hands-on approach to problem-solving. Always ready to work opportunities directly alongside your team when needed.
  • A world-class communicator. Confident in influencing and engaging with a highly skilled and experienced audience including C-level executives.
  • 10+ years of proven success in a leadership role
  • 7+ years of Cyber Security experience (Preferably Web Application Security)
