Director of Sales EngineeringSan Mateo

We are looking for an experience Sales Engineering Manager who is looking to make a move into a Director role or a Director who is looking to scale a global team.

This is a wide-ranging and highly impactful role.  You’ll be working closely with both our sales and engineering teams to introduce PerimeterX to new customers. You’ll answer questions, give demos, and show our prospects how best to use and succeed with PerimeterX. You’ll help PerimeterX build out dispersed team of Sales Engineers.

Our customers are highly technical (DevOps engineers, Security Engineers, CISO’s, CTO’s etc.). You must be comfortable interacting with folks in those roles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow PerimeterX’s pre-sales technical organization
  • Own all technical customer interactions in the pre sales environment
  • Work closely with PerimeterX’s product and engineering teams to help guide the product roadmap
  • Player /coach
  • Ability to highlight and demonstrate PerimeterX’s technical differentiators
  • Design and deliver consistently successful proof of concepts

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in sales engineering or professional services
  • 5+ years building and leading technical organizations
  • BS Degree, technical degree preferred
