How Hype Sales Protection Works
Collect
The Sensor collects and sends hundreds of client-side indicators to the detector for precise determination of human versus bot activity. The signals or indicators are used to create the device and browser fingerprints. The Sensor does not collect or store PII data.
Detect
The machine learning (ML) based Detector continuously learns the normal range for human interactions, correlates it with customer-defined policies and updates the Sensor with new intelligence. The Detector maintains a growing repository of known attacks, anonymizes and aggregates across all customers to increase accuracy. The Detector frequently updates its training data set and augments its ML features based on internal and external data, which means best-in-class protection.
Enforce
The Enforcer is the gatekeeper for threat response policies generated by the detector. It enriches and mitigates bot traffic according to business needs. The Enforcer also continuously learns and updates the Detector with relevant data. The Enforcer can be deployed inline with any existing server-side web infrastructure.
Report
The cloud-based management Portal displays all activity in real time including attacks, blocked requests and rate-limited good bots. Manage all bot traffic, good and bad, with an intuitive admin interface. With the Portal, you can investigate attacks and create custom reports.
